Andrew Zammit, born on August 9, 1965, is a renowned Maltese singer, songwriter, and music producer with a career spanning several decades. Andrew’s musical journey began at the tender age of 5, when he discovered his passion for singing. Soon after, he expanded his talents by learning the guitar, setting the foundation for a lifelong dedication to music.
Throughout his career, Andrew has showcased his versatile talent across a variety of festivals, both in Malta and internationally. Among his many accolades, a notable achievement was at the prestigious Cavan Song Festival in Ireland, where he earned the title of "Best Male Singer", a testament to his vocal prowess.
Beyond his performances, Andrew is an accomplished songwriter, creating music not only for himself but also for a wide array of artists, both Maltese and international. His expertise as a sound engineer has seen him collaborate with numerous local and global musicians, contributing to the success of various projects across diverse genres.
Andrew is the proud owner of Tone Studios, a recording studio where he produces and arranges music for numerous high-profile events and festivals, such as Eurosong, Indifest, and the Festival Kanzunetta Maltija. His studio has also been instrumental in the production of albums for various singers and bands, as well as in crafting signature tunes for television programs.
Currently, Andrew hosts a radio show titled "MIEGĦI MALTIN" on Campus FM. The program is a celebration of Maltese music, where he shares his passion for the local music scene with listeners, promoting the talents of Maltese artists and their contributions to the cultural landscape.
