Arachnid

ARACHNID was established in 1998 when Mark (guitarist) and Edward Tagliaferro (vocalist) joined forces with Fredrick Bowman, previously of "No Name Yet," on drums. In November 1999, Manuel (I.T.N.O.) became the bassist.

Their debut performance occurred in August 2000 at the 'Metal Mind' Concert. In January 2001, Kurt Pace joined as a second guitarist. By April 2001, the band performed their final show at "Rock Cafe" alongside Lithomancy. In October 2001, Mario Mifsud succeeded Manuel as the bassist. The "Grim Reaper Festival" took place on February 9, 2002. Subsequently, Campos joined as the second guitarist. In February 2004, they performed with Martyrium. In September of the same year, Stephan Abela joined as the drummer. Plans for their initial recording commenced immediately after this performance, and in March 2005, the band played with the international band Godsize and Slit. A week later, on March 18, the band entered the studio to record five tracks for a demo CD. Another performance with Anomaly occurred in April, and they released their first project, "Weaving The Web," on July 7 at Signals, their regular venue since the Beheaded gig. In August 2005, they participated in the annual festival organized by Reciprocal Records - 1565 Broadband Gathering.

In September 2005, Arachnid embarked on their inaugural tour, preceded by a performance with Weeping Silence.

In March 2008, Arachnid performed with the renowned Thrash Metal band Dew Scented. This event marked the final performance for Edward, a co-founder of Arachnid. In April 2008, Roderick Mifsud replaced him as the vocalist.

ARACHNID continued with several performances, but in September 2008, Campos departed, followed by Oliver a few months later. The band disbanded around 2009, subsequently rebranding their music and name.
