Morsrot

Morsrot is a four-piece death metal band composed of four teenagers promising to deliver energy and crushing music, live and on recording.

The band formed in 2021, with a foundation of early death metal influences and since then, they have been busy writing material and refining their sound while a four-track demo named ‘Carnal Enslavement’ has been recorded as their first opus and released via YouTube and Spotify.

Morsrot had their baptism of fire when they played their very first festival (seated event – COVID era) in 2022 – the Metal City Festival – Malta’s biggest showcase of rock and metal bands of the year and have since made appearances at events such as The Farson’s Beer Festival and Rock the South, while playing more shows at Malta’s primary rock venue The Garage, such as Peccatorum, Sanguis Noctem and even a show dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the venue.
