Poġġi

Poġġi is an instrumental post-rock band from Malta with a melancholic ambiance and atmospheric sounds. It was formed in 2020 by Nicholas Massa and Maurovic Cachia, both playing guitar.

In 2021, Poġġi's first album 'Tfulija' (Childhood), was released, featuring duo guitar melodies, based on the first 7 chapters of the Maltese Psychological Triller 'Jien, l-Univers', written by Nicholas Massa.

Shortly after the release of 'Tfulija', 2 new band member joined Poġġi, Malcolm Abdilla on keyboard and Mark Zerafa on drums. 

In 2022, Poġġi's 2nd album 'Dwal u Forom' (Light and Forms) was released, featuring 4 songs, each song written and conceptualized by each band member. 'Dwal u Forom' was performed and recorded Live, in Poġġi's debut performance, and was also partially performed at a 2nd Live performance at the end of 2022
