About the event

Kummissjoni Zghazagh Fontana together with the Ministry for Gozo and the Gozo Cultural Heritage Directorate proudly present the Fourth Edition of the Fontana Wine Festival. This year featuring The Travellers, Jolene Samhan & Band, and Joshua (Dj). A huge thanks goes to Quaint Boutique Hotels.

______________ 20+ wines to try The Fontana Wine Festival is a unique festival portraying a vast selection of Gozitan wines cultivated locally by Gozitan Farmers. In total, there will be over 20 wines produced by Fontana's very own winery, Bacchus Winery, Delicata Wine Maker Ltd, and Marsovin Winery. Our selection will include red, white, rose, sweet and sparkling wines, featuring Merlot, Syrah, Chardonnay, Girgentina, Vermentino, Gellewza, and much more.

______________ The Travellers and more This year’s edition will start at 8pm and together with a huge selection of wines you can enjoy Malta's finest:The Travellers, Jolene Samhan & Band, and Joshua (Dj).

This year the event will be held in a new location and will be taking the attendees to the oldest and most pictoresque area of the village of Fontana: Pjazza Ghejun. This square is home for the 2 main fresh water spring wash houses on the island: l-Ghajn ta' Bendu and l-Ghajn il-Kbira. This unique area will offer an unforgettable experience to all the visitors. Entrance is free of charge.

______________ Wine tasting (8pm - 11:30pm) Whilst entrance for the event is free, in order to try our vast selection of wines, one would need to purchase a souvenir glass (which is yours to keep). Additionally, there is no limit on the number of different wines one can taste.

Please note: - Glass sharing is strictly prohibited. - No bottles will be available for purchase. - Glasses will be sold until 11pm. - The wine tasting will stop at 11:30pm and the wine stalls will be closed. - Water, soft drinks and beer will also be available for purchase. - Food stalls will also be available.

______________ For the safety of all attendees: - Drink responsibly - Don't drink and drive - No alcohol will be served to persons under the age of 17 - Id card may be requested by security personnel -The organisation and security personnel have every right to ask any individuals to leave the premises if caught engaging in unethical behaviour.
