About the event

The Spacewasters live from the UK. First time in Malta. Support by Drowning Sorrows.


The Space Wasters were formed in 2001 from the ashes of Watford Punks Mugpunter & Sick Puppy.


The first album ‘The Band That Wouldn’t Die’ was released in 2016 and the band went on to perform multiple shows in the UK and abroad with the likes of King Kurt, Guana Batz, UK Subs and 999.


In 2022, main Waster Mick Lammond suffered catastrophic injuries in a motorcycle accident, resulting in the loss of his right knee below the knee.


The band also lost 2nd drummer Lee Andrews to cancer in early 2023, throwing their future into doubt.


Finally, the band were able to fly out to Serra Vista Studios in Portugal to record their long delayed second album ‘The Seven-Legged Groove Machine’ in September of 2023. The album was produced by legendary Boz Boorer of Polecat’s…
