Tuesday Concert: A Celebration of Spingtime

Well known soprano Marita Bezzina accompanied by versatile pianist Ramona Zammit Formosa will delight us during this recital.

The intriguing programme opens with the charm and elegance of Mozart’s music. “Voi che sapete” and “Non so piú cosa son” from his opera The Marriage of Figaro. These two masterpieces perfectly capture the spirit with their playful melodies. We continue our celebration with the timeless composition of “Summertime” by Gershwin.

Our captivating recital unfolds with “O mio babbino caro” from ‘Gianni Schicchi’ by G. Puccini, followed by the timeless Italian song which is a heartfelt plea to remember a loved one, “Non ti scordar di me” by E. De Curtis. This enchanting concert draws to an end with the beauty of F.
