Beheaded Completes Recording for New Album, Set for Release Later This Year

On December 22, 2024, Beheaded's frontman, Frank, announced via a short video that recording for the band's upcoming album was nearing completion. He also confirmed that the album would be released through Agonia Records, the same label behind their previous record, Only Death Can Save You, which was released on June 14, 2019.
The Maltese death metal band recorded the album at Mk2 Recording Studio in Turin, officially wrapping up the process on March 2, 2025. While an exact release date has yet to be announced, the album is expected to drop later this year.
In his message, Frank encouraged fans to stay updated by following Beheaded’s social media pages, where further announcements and details will be shared in the coming months.
Dolls For Idols Announce New Drummer Ahead of Earth Garden Performance

During the first weekend of March, Maltese band Dolls For Idols announced that drummer Alex Vella Grech, known as Il-Leksu, has joined the group, replacing Emanuel Pulis.
In a statement shared on social media, the band expressed their gratitude to Pulis for his contributions over the past year, writing: "We want to extend a huge thank you to Emanuel Pulis for his incredible drumming and contributions over the last year. As we move forward, we’re excited to welcome our new drummer, Il-Leksu."
Fans will get to see the new lineup in action at this year’s Earth Garden Festival, where Dolls For Idols will perform on June 6. The band also hinted at more live shows to be announced soon.
Perseus Dream Releases Debut Album The Oldest Tale

On March 1, Perseus Dream took to social media to announce the release of their debut album, The Oldest Tale, which officially dropped on February 25. The album is now available for streaming on Spotify, Bandcamp, and YouTube, with a vinyl deluxe edition set to arrive later this year.
In their post, the band encouraged listeners to support independent music, stating: “Every stream and purchase means the world to us!”
The album features an impressive lineup of musicians, including Helias Fylactos (guitars, backing vocals, upright bass, keys), Bill Papadopoulos (bass guitars), and Sara Marata (drums on all tracks except Taste of You and Take Over, which were recorded by Christos Zelelidis and Helias, respectively).
Guest vocalists include AnneMarie Spiteri (of Viper Soup Complex) on the title track The Oldest Tale and Time to Go, Thekla Gaiti on Taste of You, and Katerina Liaki on Take Over – Liaki’s Instrumental Version.
Perseus Dream is known for blending progressive rock, electronic soundscapes, and cinematic storytelling, creating a unique musical experience. The project was conceived in 2010 by Helias Fylactos as a personal exploration of music without genre limitations, drawing influences from 60s psychedelia, rock, jazz, electro, trance, trip-hop, punk, and metal.
