AGARTHIC LUNACY
Saturday 11 April 2026 | The Garage, Żebbuġ, Malta
Part of the Malta Metal Alliance
On Saturday 11th April 2026, as the moon ascends and the night opens its gates, AGARTHIC LUNACY will manifest at The Garage, Żebbuġ, Malta, for a singular convergence of shadow, sound, and ritual.
Beneath the glow of the Midnight Moon, four formidable forces of extreme metal will unite to transform the venue into a liminal space where atmosphere, mysticism, and raw emotion collide. AGARTHIC LUNACY is not merely a concert, but an immersive nocturnal ceremony—an invocation where music blurs the boundary between the tangible and the unseen. As the hours deepen and the clock edges toward midnight, the Agarthic current will take hold: unseen forces stirring, hearts ignited, and souls bound together by sound.
Headlining the ritual are three exceptional bands from Italy, each representing a distinct yet complementary vision of darkness:

PATRISTIC – Black / Death Metal
Founded in MMXX by E.S., PATRISTIC stands as one of the most compelling forces in contemporary black/death metal. Following the critically acclaimed Apologetica EP (Pulverised Records), recorded at Rome’s renowned 16th Cellar Studios, the band signed to Willowtip Records for the release of their forthcoming album Catechesis. Recorded once again at 16th Cellar Studios and mixed and mastered by Michael Zech (The Ruins of Beverast, Sulphur Aeon, Bölzer), Catechesis marks a new apex in the band’s sonic and ideological intensity.
For the first time since its inception, PATRISTIC will appear with a full live lineup, featuring Sathrath (Nocturnal Depression, Infernal Angels) on drums, L.S. (Frostmoon Eclipse, Liber Null) on vocals, and T.V. on bass.

BIANCA – Oneiric Black Metal
BIANCA is a visionary exploration of black metal infused with doom-laden atmospheres and dreamlike dissonance, centered on a multifaceted female identity that moves between ethereal transcendence and primal rawness. Formed in 2024, the project evolved through the involvement of E.S. (Hideous Divinity, Patristic) and the percussive force of Sathrath (Nocturnal Depression).
Their self-titled debut album is an eight-part journey through the unconscious, navigating the space between dream and nightmare. Rejecting religious dogma in favor of a radical atheist and humanistic perspective, BIANCA merges melodic intensity with suffocating atmosphere, creating a sound that is chilling, introspective, and deeply transformative.
For fans of: Akhlys, Blut Aus Nord, Wolves in the Throne Room.

INVERNOIR – Doom Metal
Hailing from Rome, INVERNOIR channels the mournful essence of 1990s doom metal, drawing inspiration from genredefining acts such as My Dying Bride, Anathema, Katatonia, and Paradise Lost. Their sound is an embodiment of coldness and decadence—music shaped by apathy, existential anguish, and the absence of answers.
Through slow, crushing tempos, sorrow-soaked melodic riffs, and a glacial, winter-bound atmosphere, Invernoir conjures landscapes of decay and introspection, carried by deep growls and piercing high roars that echo long after the final note fades.
