Chellcy Reitsma Joins GRAMMY Voting Members – July 10, 2025

On the 10th of July, 2025, Malta's very own Chellcy Reitsma was accepted as a new GRAMMY Voting Member by The Recording Academy! 

After a rigorous application process, and cutting through an overwhelming pool of international applicants, Chellcy's music industry peers selected her as one of the deserving individuals empowered to make a direct impact on the future of music and the lives of those who power it – creators.

As a member, she will have significant influence to help The Recording Academy carry out their ongoing mission to support and protect the art of music creation and music people year-round. She can now submit songs for GRAMMY nomination consideration and cast her vote in choosing who will receive a GRAMMY nomination and in the final GRAMMY winners; as well she can attend The Recording Academy events, including the GRAMMY's.

What does this mean for Malta? By becoming a GRAMMY Voting Member, Chellcy has taken one huge step forward in elevating Malta's status on the international music scene and can represent Malta and the Maltese music industry on a very internationally renowned platform and music community!
