Devil's Breath Contributes One of Its Harshest Works to Noctivagant's 15th Anniversary Compilation

"They Were Deceived And Condemned Us Eternally" featured on Quindecennial, celebrating 15 years of Noctivagant

Devil's Breath is proud to announce its participation in Quindecennial, the monumental anniversary compilation released by Noctivagant to commemorate 15 years of dedication to underground and experimental music. The compilation brings together 108 artists from across the globe, highlighting the breadth and diversity of the label's enduring vision.

Representing Devil's Breath on the release is the track "They Were Deceived And Condemned Us Eternally", a composition that stands among the most uncompromising and extreme works the project has produced throughout its 11-year existence.

Addressing themes of historical manipulation and collective consequence, the track explores the dangers of distorted narratives and manufactured truths. As the band explains:

"When the past is intentionally buried or thwarted, the future is trapped in a lie. 'They Were Deceived And Condemned Us Eternally' is about how a manufactured history has locked us all into a reality that never should have existed."

Musically, the piece draws influence from ritual music, power electronics, and noise, resulting in a relentless sonic assault that pushes Devil's Breath's sound into even harsher territory.

The inclusion of the track on Quindecennial marks a significant moment for the project, joining 107 other acts in celebrating a label that has spent the past decade and a half championing challenging, innovative, and boundary-defying music.
