L-Irxoxt will be officially launched on 13 December with a concert at the MCAST Theatre in Corradino. Tickets for the album launch are now available for purchase at ticketline.com.mt. “The long wait is over. You did well to wait. Wertit,” the band affirmed in their announcement.

The launch event on 13 December will open its doors at 19:30, with Sam Christie performing as the opening act.

Djun are a Maltese musical group known for marrying catchy melodies with poetic lyrics and adventurous musical arrangements. The band consists of Justin Galea (vocals), Joseph “Bibi” Camilleri (drums), Ryen Refalo (guitar), Paul Torpiano (keyboards), and Charles Cassar (bass). Formed in 2017, Djun quickly established themselves as one of the most beloved acts on Malta’s alternative rock scene.

Their debut album, Il-Ħlas (2019), explored themes of time and endings and was launched to acclaim with a concert at the Malta Society of Arts. Following its release, the group continued to remain active through multiple live performances and the online release of the fan-favourite track “Ħdejk,” which gained significant attention and inspired numerous artistic interpretations in an online “chain post.”

Djun now look ahead to unveiling L-Irxoxt, inviting listeners to join them in celebrating this next chapter.
