‘Abaddon’

A first listen to a track from Krishna's upcoming album 'Absence As Loss' with single ‘Abaddon’.

Originating from Hebrew literature, and symbolises the Angel of the Bottomless Pit. The band chose this title to symbolise the continual process of living with the void and accepting it as part of one's life. ‘Absence as Loss’ explores a broader emotional depth to Krishna's music. Whilst keeping the central theme of loss, the album explores the continual void created by an individual's absence in other's lives, the chain of events created as a result of that loss and the continual process of coming to terms and growing with that void.

Krishna is an instrumental heavy music duo from Malta consisting of Timothy Garrett on guitar and Alan Darmanin on drums. Krishna’s sound is very much indefinable, however, in musical terms, it channels such styles and techniques of post-metal, post-rock, drone, ambient, stoner, doom as well as a host of other genres.
