Krishna Announce Absence as Loss Album Launch with Special Guests

Krishna have announced the official launch of their third studio album, Absence as Loss, set to take place on Saturday, 16 May at Tigullio Club.

The event marks a new milestone for the band, whose evolving sound blends post-metal, post-rock, drone, and ambient influences into emotionally driven compositions. Their latest release continues this trajectory, offering a more expansive and immersive sonic experience, with the band set to perform the album in its entirety on the night.

Joining Krishna for this special occasion are two prominent names from Malta’s underground heavy music scene:

• Repugnance – A longstanding force in the local extreme metal circuit, Repugnance are known for their uncompromising approach to brutal death metal. Their aggressive sound and established presence have made them a staple of Malta’s heavier live music offerings, bringing intensity and raw energy to the lineup.

• Dalam – Characterised by their abrasive and chaotic sonic textures, DALAM deliver a distinct noise rock experience. Often described as a “soundtrack to Maltese construction works,” their music embraces distortion, experimentation, and visceral performance dynamics, offering a stark contrast that complements the evening’s diverse heavy soundscape.

The combination of these three acts promises a compelling and dynamic live event, showcasing different facets of Malta’s alternative and heavy music community.
