The Metal Malta Alliance proudly announces two landmark events set to define the Maltese metal calendar in 2026: AGARTHIC LUNACY and the Wacken Metal Battle – Malta 2026. Together, these events celebrate both the mystical power of live performance and the competitive spirit of Malta’s thriving metal scene.

On Saturday 11th April 2026, AGARTHIC LUNACY descends upon Malta as an immersive sonic ritual where music, atmosphere, and myth converge. Set against the evocative backdrop of The Garage, the event transforms the venue into a realm of shadow and mysticism. As the moon rises and midnight approaches, audiences will be drawn into an otherworldly experience where sound becomes ceremony.

Four international acts will channel their distinct sonic identities into this singular night:

• PATRISTIC — Death / Black Metal

• BIANCA — Oneiric Black Metal

• INVERNOIR — Doom Metal

• EVER OBSCURE — Gothic Alternative Metal
