Żebbuġ, Malta – Saturday, 14 March — Metallum Idus Martiae, an immersive Heavy Metal gathering forged in mystery, tradition, and uncompromising sound, will descend upon Malta on Saturday, 14 March, transforming The Garage in Żebbuġ into the epicentre of ritualistic intensity and sonic power.

Inspired by the ominous symbolism of the Ides of March, Metallum Idus Martiae is conceived as more than a concert—it is a ceremonial convergence of history, myth, and extreme music. The event summons internationally acclaimed metal acts from beyond Malta’s shores to deliver a night defined by raw aggression, dark atmosphere, and thunderous performance.

Headlining the event is VARATHRON (Greece), pioneers of Hellenic black metal, whose legacy and occult-driven sound have influenced generations of extreme metal worldwide. Joining them are DARKEND (Italy), renowned for their cinematic black metal aesthetic and immersive stage presence, alongside Malta’s own KILLERWITCH, bringing ferocious local power to the international lineup.
