Kantera and Sterjotipi to Headline Inaugural VAJNIL Concert at Salesian Theatre
The Salesian Theatre in Tas-Sliema will host the first edition of VAJNIL, an exciting new musical event in Maltese, on September 14th. The concert will feature performances by two of Malta's most beloved bands, Kantera and Sterjotipi.
Both bands are well-established in the local music scene, having released several hit songs in recent years. Kantera, formed in 2020, has made multiple appearances at the Mużika Mużika festival, where they garnered significant acclaim. Their traditional music style earned them second place twice, with the songs "Tkun 'l Hawn Għaddi" and "Vjaġġ Sabiħ," and third place with "L-Ewwel Jien." At VAJNIL, Kantera will celebrate another milestone by launching their debut album.
Sterjotipi, founded in 2017, has captivated audiences with their popular Maltese tracks. The band, consisting of Mark M. Costa, Stefan Grech, Roderick Borg, and Gabriel Mansueto, has produced well-loved songs such as "Int u Jien," "Bogħod mill-Briju," "Super Eroj," "Belti," and "Mostri." During the VAJNIL concert, they will unveil a new song, adding to their impressive repertoire.
The Salesian Theatre is renowned for its rich history of hosting various productions, with its stage backdrop featuring a scene by the esteemed painter Giuseppe Cali.

Ewfonija to Host Grand Operatic Concert at Grand Hotel Gozo on 4th October
Ewfonija is set to present a grand operatic concert at the Grand Hotel Gozo on October 4th. Gozo Youth Wind Band & Orchestra Announce Two More Major Events for the Summer
The Gozo Youth Wind Band & Orchestra has unveiled two exciting events for music enthusiasts in 2024.
First, the 9th Edition of Stage & Proms on the Sea will take place on Monday, 16th September 2024, at Mgarr Marina. This event promises an unforgettable night filled with the magic of London’s West-End shows and BBC Proms classics, all performed by the Gozo Youth Wind Band. Special guest artists Neville Refalo and Rachel Fabri will add to the evening’s enchantment. Founded in 2002 under the direction of Mro Joseph Grech, the Gozo Youth Wind Band & Orchestra has become a cornerstone of Gozo's cultural scene.
