Parliament Steps Take on a New Life with Installation for Notte Bianca 2026

With Notte Bianca 2026 just around the corner, Valletta is preparing to come alive once again for a night of art, culture and creativity, as Festivals Malta gets ready to present this year’s edition on Saturday, 3 October 2026.

As part of the preparations for the event, the Parliament Steps are attracting attention with a special installation. The steps feature the words “Int Tiela’ fit-3 t’Ottubru!”, offering a creative reminder of the date of Notte Bianca while building anticipation for the event.

But the installation also has an element of surprise. The steps will form part of an Augmented Reality (AR) experience, adding an interactive dimension to the installation. More details about this experience will be revealed soon.

This year, Notte Bianca is taking a new artistic approach, with a collaborative team of artistic directors bringing different ideas and perspectives to the festival. This collaboration is helping to create a varied and balanced programme, featuring different forms of art and creativity across Valletta.

Festivals Malta, together with the entire Notte Bianca team, continues to work on preparations for the event as the highly anticipated night draws closer.

On 3rd October, Valletta will once again light up for Notte Bianca, with a night filled with music, dance, theatre, art and creative experiences for the whole public to enjoy.
