Skald will host the second event in their exclusive three-part intimate gathering series at Casa Gourgion, a historic residence located in Mdina Cathedral Square, on Saturday 16 May. The event promises a unique blend of music, heritage, and audience interaction, offering attendees a rare glimpse into the band’s evolving creative process.
Set within the atmospheric surroundings of Mdina—often referred to as the “Silent City”—the evening invites guests to take a leisurely stroll through the historic streets before entering Casa Gourgion for a curated cultural experience. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the historic house before enjoying a live musical performance accompanied by a complimentary drink.

During the session, Skald will perform selections from both their debut and sophomore albums, while also introducing early draft material from their upcoming third album, which is slated for release by the end of next year.
“This gathering could be a good time where those attending can give feedback to help shape this next chapter in this journey,” the band shared, emphasizing the collaborative nature of the event and their openness to audience input.
The evening will be divided into two limited-capacity sessions:
First session: Doors: 5:00 PM, Concert: 5:30 PM
Second session: Doors: 6:30 PM, Concert: 7:00 PM
Each session is restricted to just 20 attendees, ensuring an intimate and immersive experience. Due to the historic nature of the venue, guests should be aware that stairs and walking are part of the experience. Children under the age of six are not permitted.
Tickets can be purchased online, and early booking is strongly encouraged given the limited availability.
This event is supported by Farsons Classic Brews, Il-Kamra ta' Fuq, New Life Bar Mqabba, Transient, Art Sweven, and XIL Ltd.
