Tigné Barracks Musicians Movement Celebrates 45 Years with Special Reunion Concert.

Sliema, Malta – August 2026 – The Tigné Barracks Musicians Movement is proud to announce “Tigné Barracks, The Concert”, a special event commemorating the 45th Anniversary of the Tigné Barracks Musicians Movement, taking place on Saturday, 8th August 2026, at the historic Tigné Barracks area, Tigné Point.

The free community event will run from 6:00 PM until midnight and promises an unforgettable evening of live music, nostalgia, and celebration, bringing together former members of the movement, residents of the barracks, music lovers, and all those who cherish the rich history of this unique cultural landmark.

Forty-five years after it all began, the event will celebrate the music, friendships, creativity, and memories that made Tigné Barracks a vibrant hub for generations of musicians and artists. Attendees will have the opportunity to reconnect with old friends, relive treasured moments, and experience the enduring spirit that continues to inspire the community today.

“Where memories were made, music still lives on” serves as the theme of this anniversary celebration, reflecting the lasting legacy of the movement and its contribution to Malta’s musical and cultural landscape.
