Beesqueeze sign to Kewn Records

On Friday 21st April Kewn Records issued the following statement announcing another addition to their already rick roster: "Welcome to the Kewn Records family Beesqueeze ! Beesqueeze is a Maltese high-power indie pop rock trio, consisting of Kriz Haze (guitar, synth and vox) & Chris Lee (drums, vox, guitar and fx) & Erick Saliba (bass) who joined the band later - three individuals full of energy!

Beesqueeze describe their music as 'Alterdelic' (alternative / psychedelic) rock, and rightly so, as their sound is a pumpy and vibrant combination of alternative rock mixed with psychedelic pop influenced by acts such as The Strokes,

MGMT, Tame Impala, Gorillaz, Arcade Fire and The Pixies.

Their first EP 'Crowd Control' was released in 2017 and showed the band's take on finding a crispy sound.

In 2020 recording sessions for their first album started in their tiny home studio. The band is experimenting with a variety of electronic sounds, beats and rhythms on these tracks, whilst maintaining a warm rawness to it. In 2020 they've released 3 tracks all accompanied with a music video shot, directed and edited by the band itself.

The Bees are finishing the last few songs to be released with Kewn Records later this year!

Beesqueeze is an explosive live band worth watching and being part of their energetic shows!"

Melodija Team congratulates both parties on yet another milestone achieved.
