SK2M < Back SK2M Fusion takes its name from the initials of its members — Simon, Karl, Mark, and Melchior. The band was formed in 2025, bringing together four accomplished musicians who have collaborated in various musical settings over the years. Each member contributes a wealth of experience drawn from jazz, fusion, and contemporary music, combining their individual voices into a unified sound that is both energetic and refined. Our repertoire features original compositions from Simon Sammut’s albums alongside reimagined jazz standards, presented through the group’s distinctive fusion lens. The result is music that balances strong rhythmic foundations with melodic interplay and improvisational freedom. SK2M Fusion represents an ongoing musical journey — one built on shared chemistry, mutual respect, and a passion for creating fresh, dynamic interpretations within the ever-evolving language of jazz. Chasing Pandora Matt Hush < Back In May of 2007, Chasing Pandora unveiled their inaugural album, “Mocking the Mocking Bird,” which garnered significant local raise. Later that year, in December, the band clinched three Malta Music Awards, further solidifying their acclaim. In April 2008, Chasing Pandora presented the EP "Two," notably featuring the popular track "Memories," which earned a nomination for "Best Song" at the Malta Music Awards. Throughout 2008, the band graced various stages in Malta and London. Come November, they introduced their second EP, “Wide Eyed Beautiful.” The launch of their second full album, “The Driver and the Dancer,” in June 2009, was followed by a series of vibrant gigs in London, with positive reviews flowing in from esteemed sources like "The Fly," "Acoustic Music Magazine," and "Rock N Reel." The end of 2009 witnessed the release of Chasing Pandora's inaugural single in the UK, "Running in Circles," subsequently featured on BBC Radio 2 and contributing to another round of gigs in London. This triumph paved the way for the UK release of "The Driver and the Dancer" in 2010, where it was met with an enthusiastic reception at the RoundHouse Music Room, playing to a packed audience. This album also earned a commendable review in The Independent newspaper and was performed live as part of the Janice Long BBC Radio show. Following the launch of their fourth EP, “People,” Chasing Pandora earned an invitation to perform at the North by North-East Festival in Toronto, an honor bestowed upon them from a pool of 600,000 applicants, making them one of 6,000 bands to grace the event. < Back Giuseppe Labruzzo Bass Giuseppe Labruzzo, originally from Sicily and currently residing in Lombardy, has embraced various musical shades throughout his career, ranging from Rockabilly to Metal. At the age 15, inspired by Nirvana, he started playing the bass, becoming a self-taught musician with the valuable support of his cousin. Together with another Giuseppe and Lorenzo, he joined a band called MD and contributed to the recording of the album "Endless Rain," characterized by the post-punk genre. They took their music around Sicily, performing in various venues. For a brief period, he experimented with the double bass to explore the world of country music. Despite his passion for music, Giuseppe pursued studies in Biotechnology and currently teaches chemistry and biology in the province of Monza. Giuseppe Labruzzo has recently joined Rock Band Monkey Riot. The encounter with Monkey Riot through an advertisement was crucial, as he found in them the desire, camaraderie, seriousness, and availability he has always looked for in a band. < Back Enzo Guzman Singer Enzo Gusman, born Laurence Gusman on August 9, 1947, in Sliema, Malta, was a beloved Maltese singer, broadcaster, and entertainer who left an indelible mark on the island's music scene. Discovered by the late comic actor Johnnie Navarro at a young age, Gusman's journey into the world of entertainment began early. He showcased his vocal talent as the vocalist of the Maltese pop group "The Boys" in 1964 before embarking on a career in banking. However, his passion for music persisted, leading him to participate in numerous international song festivals where he garnered acclaim and recognition. Throughout his career, Gusman's versatility as a singer was evident as he effortlessly transitioned between romantic ballads, catchy pop tunes, and even opera. He captivated audiences with his performances, winning prestigious awards such as the 'First Prize' at the Golden Orpheus Festival in Bulgaria and being declared the Best Interpreter at the Istanbul International Song Festival. Additionally, Gusman's own compositions became cherished classics in Malta and beyond, ensuring his enduring legacy in the Maltese diaspora. Beyond his musical accomplishments, Gusman was a prominent figure in Maltese radio and television, hosting popular shows like "Bejn il-Ħbieb" on Calypso Radio, where he endeared himself to listeners by affectionately referring to them as friends. He used his platform to advocate for causes close to his heart, notably championing blood donation and promoting the Maltese language and heritage. Gusman's dedication to his craft and his contributions to Maltese culture were recognized with awards such as the Midalja għall-Qadi tar-Repubblika in 2008, honoring his decades-long commitment to entertainment and broadcasting. His influence extended beyond his professional achievements, as he also left a lasting impact on those who knew him personally. Fondly remembered for his warmth, humor, and love for his homeland, Gusman touched the lives of many, leaving behind a rich musical legacy that will continue to resonate for generations to come. On December 18, 2021, Enzo Gusman passed away peacefully at his home in Canada, surrounded by his loved ones, bringing an end to a remarkable journey that spanned decades. As tributes poured in from friends, colleagues, and fans, it became clear that while Gusman may have left this world, his music and memory would endure, ensuring that his spirit lives on eternally in the hearts of all who were touched by his artistry.
