Based in Malta the Dutch-American former dancer-choreographer originally from California, USA; began her musical journey in 2015 after a multitude of dance injuries forced her to find a new passion. Since her first single release in 2016, she is now a full-time singer-songwriter, visual artist and poet. 11 single releases, a 4 track EP, 7 music videos and 4 poem videos later, she has developed her own unique fusion style with a retro edge that blends and blurs the lines between a myriad of genres from blues and Alt-rock to Rockabilly and Americana seamlessly. As a visual artist she graduated from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in Chicago, IL in 2004 and has had numerous exhibitions since. Her 2020 project 'Desolate Days' hit the Top 20 Music Video Charts in Malta, combines both her music and visual art practices in her first stop motion animation lyric video drawn in charcoal and digital art. 'Desolate Days' is part of the InnovAiR: Artist at Home program for the Valletta Cultural Agency. Checkmate < Back Checkmate MT was formed in the summer of 2020, in the peak of the pandemic. The idea of the project was formed around the concept of diversity - due to the fact that the members represent four distinct generations, inspired by different musical styles from distinct eras. The band’s frontman Kevin Michaels is a well known, established singer in Malta’s rock scene and is accompanied by an electric group of professional musicians featuring Jean Carl Grech on the bass guitar, Adam Bonello shredding the lead guitar, Georgius Mifsud with his distinct and powerful riffs on the rhythm guitar and Steve Worley who rocks the band with his energetic drumming. Their debut single “Tonight” was a success as soon as it was released, and alongside their most recent singles “Standing in my Way” and “Move On”, all tracks and the respective music videos are regularly featured on the local and international radios, local mainstream TV music shows. The Areola Treat < Back The Areola Treat are an alternative rock band from Valletta. The band formed around 2006, and are inspired by US-based, late 1970s art punk, science fiction novels, William Burroughs and Edgar Allen Poe. Gut-wrenching female screeches, screams and punchy drum beats to discordant, drone harmonies that seem to develop into rich walls of sound. They have since then launched an EP and 3 albums, in 2008, 2011, 2013 and 2014 respectively. They are back with a whole lot of new music set for release in 2023 in the form of 7 singles as well as an EP and Double Album. Red Town Baby will be available on all major streaming platforms on launch day with no physical release. Damaged & Co. Bloodography < Back Known for their stage antics, use of props and costumes, DAMAGED & CO. always sets the bar higher to deliver a fun filled performance, engaging the crowd's interaction. Alternative Metal band DAMAGED & CO. started off as a 2-man project in 2017 under a different name. After picking up momentum the project expanded to a full band, with a complete line-up, in 2018. After releasing their first single “Here to Stay”, followed by their live debut, the band played a few local shows in 2018. DAMAGED & CO. had their first taste of performing outside their country in 2019 when they were invited to take part in Sbam Fest III Edizione at Torino, Italy. 2 new Singles, recorded in 2019 (“Kill o’Clock” & “Broken Fields”), were released in 2019 & 2020 respectively. In January 2020 the band signed with Hades Management. After the pandemic, DAMAGED & CO. hit the stage again in October 2021, for a sold-out show at the annual “Halloween Massacre Event” at “The Garage”, following with appearances in 2022 at the “City Theatre” in Valletta, another show overseas, this time at the “Legend Club” in Milan and closing off the summer at the prestigious “Farsons Beer Festival” in August. After releasing a self-titled EP (2022), the band finalized recording their debut album, “Life’s Grand Delusion” at SpineSplitter Studio and worked with renowned producer Matt Hyde (Slipknot, Trivium, As I Lay Dying, The Raven Age) on mixing and mastering. The album was released on Feb 11th, 2023. On March 31st, 2023, Damaged & Co. opened for Finnish metal heavyweights LORDI at the Aria Complex in San Gwann, followed by a performance at the Dark Malta Festival in April 2023, which was headlined by DEATHSTARS. Damaged & Co. are set to return to Dark Malta’s stage for the 2025 edition. Reload MT < Back Formed in November 2024, RELOAD MT is a dynamic three-piece blues and rock band based in Malta. The group consists of Isaac Azzopardi (lead guitarist and main vocalist), Jake Azzopardi (bassist, backing vocalist, and keyboardist), and Aiden Bondin (drummer). Despite their recent formation, the band has already performed three times at Muddy Waters, twice at Wild Honey Valletta, and once at 97 noted steadily building a strong reputation in the local music scene. The three musicians first crossed paths in 2023 when they started playing together in their former school band, Electric Echoes, which went on to perform on the prestigious Sanremo stage. However, after a few months, the group disbanded, with Isaac, Jake, and Aiden continuing to perform together at notable events such as X Factor Malta 2024 and Earth Garden Festival 2024. Prior to becoming RELOAD MT, the trio performed under the name SUP3RSONIC, a four-piece band with an additional rhythm guitarist and lead vocalist. However, just a week before their first gig at Muddy Waters in November 2024, their fourth member departed, leaving Isaac, Jake, and Aiden to carry on as a trio. Rising to the challenge, they rebranded as RELOAD MT and successfully debuted at Muddy Waters. Since then, the band has been securing multiple performance opportunities and expanding their reach. Currently, RELOAD MT is preparing for their new upcoming performances which include Lemon & Lime Pub, Earth Garden Festival 2025 and many others With an increasing number of performance opportunities and a growing fan base, RELOAD MT is trying to start a steady rise in Malta’s music scene. As they gear up for even more new gigs, the band remains focused on refining their craft, expanding their original repertoire, and striving for even greater success. As one of the founding members of Manic Satin, she brings a raw, instinctive energy shaped by a lifelong connection to music. Growing up in a home where music was always playing, she developed an early fascination with rhythm, sound, and the emotional weight a single note can carry. Although Manic Satin is her first official band, Sarah approaches every rehearsal and performance with the drive of someone who has lived with music her whole life. Her style blends intuition with a growing technical edge, giving the band’s sound a grounded, pulsing backbone.
