NEBULAR FESTIVAL RETURNS FOR ITS SEVENTH EDITION press release

Nebular Festival returns to The Garage Żebbuġ, Malta on Saturday, 28th November 2026, marking the seventh edition of the festival and another night dedicated to heavy and alternative music.

This year’s lineup brings together four bands spanning post-black metal, noise rock and stoner doom, led by Warsaw-based Hangover in Minsk.

Formed in 2024 by members of Belarusian depressive doom and post-black metal band Dymna Lotva, Hangover in Minsk began as an idea during a long drive home from Dark Easter Metal Meeting. What started as jokes about “depressive beer metal” soon developed into a project built around melancholy, raw emotion and atmospheric heaviness. Their music combines post-black metal and post-metal with deeply introspective melodies and an unmistakably bleak mood.( Zobens un Lemess Festival)

The band released its debut album, Party Is Over, in April 2025. The eight-track record features guest appearances from Déhà and Kim Carlsson and established Hangover in Minsk as a distinctive new voice within the European post-black metal scene.( Metal Archives)

Joining them are three bands from Malta’s underground music scene:

Niket deliver a raw and atmospheric take on post-black metal, moving between haunting soundscapes and intense heaviness.

Dalam bring a loud and abrasive blend of noise rock, driven by energy, tension and distortion.

Hemplifier completes the lineup with fuzz-drenched stoner doom, packed with massive riffs and heavy grooves.

Now entering its seventh edition, Nebular Festival continues its mission of bringing different corners of the heavy music scene together while providing a platform for both international and local artists in Malta.

The event will take place at The Garage, Żebbuġ, with doors opening at 8:00 PM. Entrance is €20 at the door, with a limited number of early bird tickets to be announced soon.
