Void Of Chaos press release
VOID OF CHAOS RELEASE “MORS PERPETUA”
A MEDITATION ON LOSS, MORTALITY AND EXISTENCE
The Maltese metal project explores the existential questions that emerge from loss.
Void of Chaos present Mors Perpetua, a meditation on loss, mortality and the search for meaning in an indifferent universe.
Exploring the existential questions that arise when loss shakes our understanding of life, the song challenges ideas of purpose and fate, confronting the possibility that the universe offers no answers. Its themes leave room for listeners to draw parallels with their own experiences of loss and the questions these leave behind.
An international project
Formed in Malta in 2020, Void of Chaos is built around Karl Friggieri's songwriting and multi-instrumental work, with musicians based outside Malta contributing to its releases. For Mors Perpetua, Karl wrote the music and lyrics and performed the guitars, bass, programmed drums and orchestrations. Guest musician Sven K. contributes vocals.
Following the singles “Feel the Rot” and “Void of Chaos”, the project released its debut album Plagues of Annihilation in 2021, followed by the single “Agony” in 2024.
Mors Perpetua is available now.
