< Back Francesco Degabriele Vocals, Guitar facebook.com Francesco DeGabriele was born and bred in music since his father was heavily involved amongst others with a television show in the early 90’s titled ‘Mal-Beat Ta’ 60. Francesco started learning the guitar at 13 tutored by Robert Tomasuolo (Lord Adder) and Jean Pierre Zammit (ex Tribali). At 16 he started playing with a band, which evolved into M.A.D. after a few months trying to find a name. The band stayed together for four years, and after disbanding Francesco joined Dementia for a short period. Then the twenty-year-old joined The X, a residence band in the Bugibba bars circuit. Next for Francesco was Knockturn Alley, while still learning, jamming, and playing with in rock and blues outfits, sometimes even pop. In 2008 he joined War Trigger, a thrash metal band that had culminated a huge following. Poġġi < Back Poġġi is an instrumental post-rock band from Malta with a melancholic ambiance and atmospheric sounds. It was formed in 2020 by Nicholas Massa and Maurovic Cachia, both playing guitar. In 2021, Poġġi's first album 'Tfulija' (Childhood), was released, featuring duo guitar melodies, based on the first 7 chapters of the Maltese Psychological Triller 'Jien, l-Univers', written by Nicholas Massa. Shortly after the release of 'Tfulija', 2 new band member joined Poġġi, Malcolm Abdilla on keyboard and Mark Zerafa on drums. In 2022, Poġġi's 2nd album 'Dwal u Forom' (Light and Forms) was released, featuring 4 songs, each song written and conceptualized by each band member. < Back Roderick Sciberras Guitars Roderick Sciberras (born on 4th February 1993) is a metal musician / guitarist of the extreme metal band ‘Chaotic Remains’. He is one of the co-founders / original members of the band ‘Chaotic Remains’ having been a member/playing with the band from the beginning back in 2008 till present. Starting playing at a young age, he began to develop interest and affection for extreme music at the age of 14. Influenced by bands such as Lamb of God, Carcass, Nile, Hypocrisy, Death, etc he starting focusing his musical career to the extreme side of the metal genre. Co-founded the band ‘Chaotic Remains’ back in 2008 alongside frontman Sean Storm Baldacchino, after both showing the same interest in music influences. From a childhood project, the band ended up in presently sharing the stage with renowned local and foreign acts, successfully releasing a full length album under a Label and in the process of releasing another album. Krejon < Back The founders of the band are brothers and guitarists, Mario and Manuel. Heavily influenced by instrumental guitar music, they started experimenting by writing instrumental pieces and songs together. Once they had composed several songs, Christopher joined the band, initially as a percussionist and then as a drummer. Later, Alan joined the band on bass. The band as a 4 piece was formed mid-2021. Their first gig took place in December 2021. After a few gigs later, the band discussed the idea of adding different instruments to the band. Keyboardist Steve joined Krejon a few months later. Their first EP, consisting of 6 tracks, was released inMay 2023. The band are also currently working on new songs for future albums. < Back Ismael Azzopardi Keyboards Matt Hush Ismael Azzopardi is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer and filmmaker who for the past 20 years has been active in renown local bands, music productions, video productions, sound design, and their application in compositions, contemporary dance, advertisement, live music performances and music videos. He collaborates with other producers, musicians, choreographers and visual artists, also leading his own film projects featured on multimedia platforms. Ismael has performed in major international festivals such as NXNE in Toronto, Canada and iconic venues such as The Roundhouse, The Bedford and The Water Rats. Ismael played a significant role in popular bands like Chasing Pandora who received various awards such as Malta Music Awards and Bay Music awards. Their music has also been played on BBC Radio 2, including being featured on Janice Long’s programme Late Night Show. As a composer / producer he co-wrote and co-produced the original soundtrack for the adaptation of La Divina Commedia by Dante Alighieri performed by Naupaca Dance Factory in the Mediterranean Conference Centre. Utilising his dynamic spectrum of a different array of arts, Ismael also shot / produced music videos for local artists including his own video projects.
