< Back Daniel Vassallo Guitars Daniel Vassallo was born on the 24th January 2006. Music has always been part of his life and was particularly fascinated by the guitar. He started learning/playing at eleven on acoustic, and although he transferred to playing electrical, he continues his studies on classical guitar playing getting his o’levels and now is working on intermediate level. Still, rock was always important, and Daniel tried with a number of different bands until Soul, with whom as he stated: “Guitar and rock have truly saved my life and in this band I feel (at) home, as songs aren’t written, they’re simply released”. < Back Charlie Muscat Guitars Paloma Pictures Charlie ‘Paletti’ Muscat, a prolific guitarist and songwriter, has left an indelible mark on the music scene with a diverse discography spanning several decades. Born with a passion for instrumental expression, Charlie's musical journey began in 1993 with the release of his debut album, "STYLES." A 10-track instrumental masterpiece, the album showcased Charlie's multifaceted talents as he took on the roles of writer, recorder, producer, and distributor. Following the success of his first venture, Charlie swiftly moved on to his second album, "I Believe," in 1995. Motivated by a sense of urgency and a noble cause, this 9-track album was crafted, recorded, produced, and released in a remarkable four months, utilizing a 4-track audio cassette recorder. The prolific artist continued his creative odyssey with the third album, "Ahjar gibna tnejn biex jghannu," a sprawling collection of 18 tracks. The writing process extended from 1995 to 1999, culminating in the album's production and release in the year 2000. From 2019 till 2023 Charlie played guitars alongside guitarist Robert Tomasuolo in Lord Adder and appears on ‘Operation Pedastal’ and ‘1565’ both released in 2022. Charlie's fourth offering, "Jam Sessions Vol 1," marked a departure in style, capturing a small fraction of the extensive jam sessions he had been recording since 2017. The album, consisting of 10 tracks, evolved gradually over the years, and was meticulously organized and released in 2023, showcasing Charlie's commitment to his craft. Returning to his roots, the fifth album, "my Guitar Instrumentals," echoed the instrumental theme of his debut. With 12 tracks, the album traced Charlie's musical evolution from 1991 to 2023, offering a captivating journey through his recording career. Diversifying his portfolio, the sixth album, "my Various Artists," showcased Charlie's songwriting prowess for other artists. Comprising 10 songs written between 2005 and 2023, some of which he performed himself, the album highlighted Charlie's versatility and collaborative spirit. In a poignant finale, Charlie presented his seventh and last album, "The 7th Piece," a compilation of past works and recent productions. Spanning from 1997 to 2023, the album was a testament to Charlie's enduring creativity. With a promise of an additional song, the album aimed to complete its lineup with a total of 10 songs. Every piece of Charlie Muscat's extensive body of work has been digitally remixed and remastered, a testament to his dedication to preserving the essence of the original recordings. Driven by his thirst for knowledge and growth, Christoffer continued his music education at a higher level, earning various theory diplomas along the way. As an artist, he has had the privilege of releasing original music with multiple bands, with each collaboration pushing the boundaries of creativity. The release of his original music holds a special place for him, as it provides a direct avenue to share his expressed emotions and feelings through the power of music with others. Presently, Christoffer thrives as a versatile session musician, lending his skills to around eight different bands and musicians. The diverse range of genres and styles he explores keeps his musical journey vibrant and ever-evolving. < Back Joel Baldacchino Guitarist Joel Baldacchino is a Maltese guitarist, singer, and songwriter, born on the 1st of July 1995. He is best known for his work as lead vocalist and guitarist with Pyramid Suns and currently as guitarist with Manic Satin, a groovy classic rock inspired project. Over the years, he has also been involved in other bands such as Shlamizard, an ambient post-rock project, and Skorch, a proto-punk band. Deeply inspired by legendary classic rock acts including Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, and Deep Purple, Joel’s musical journey began after immersing himself in the sounds of the 70s. Alongside these influences, bands such as Red Hot Chili Peppers and HIM also played an important role in shaping his musical identity from a young age. He bought his first guitar at the age of 16 and has been dedicated to music ever since. Only a year after picking up the instrument, Joel co-founded Pyramid Suns, driven by a strong desire to create original music. Throughout the years, he experimented with different instruments including bass and piano, although guitar remained his primary focus. He also spent around four years playing bass with Skorch, an experience that, despite being stylistically different from his usual musical direction, became an important and enjoyable part of his growth as a musician. As his musical taste evolved beyond classic rock into genres and influences such as film and video game soundtracks, trip-hop, lo-fi, progressive rock, and metal, so did his songwriting and compositions. This evolution became evident throughout the progression of Pyramid Suns’ music, with the band’s early EP differing greatly from their later album while still maintaining a distinct identity. Today, Joel’s main focus is Manic Satin, a project that feels like a return to the roots that originally inspired him to pursue music. Through the band, he combines decades of influences and experiences into a sound that feels vintage yet contemporary. Currently, Manic Satin is actively writing, recording, rehearsing, and performing live while continuing to grow creatively and enjoy the journey together.
